Peer review process and timeline

Editorial Review Process

JOIEIA follows a rigorous peer review process :

  1. Initial Screening: Editorial office conducts preliminary review within 48 hours
  2. Peer Review Assignment: Manuscripts assigned to qualified reviewers in relevant fields
  3. Review Timeline: Standard review period of 6-8 weeks
  4. Decision Communication: Authors notified of editorial decisions with reviewer comments
  5. Revision Process: Authors may be invited to revise and resubmit based on feedback

Manuscript Metadata Requirements

During submission, provide :

  • Title: Concise and descriptive (consistent across all submission fields)
  • Abstract: 150–250 words, self-contained summary
  • Keywords: 3–6 keywords for indexing purposes
  • Funding Information: Grant details if applicable
  • Acknowledgments: Optional recognition of support

For the Editors Section

Authors may optionally provide :

  • Suggested subject areas or keywords for reviewer assignment
  • Cover letter or editorial comments
  • Conflict of interest statements
  • Suggested or opposed reviewers (with justification)
