Peer review process and timeline
Editorial Review Process
JOIEIA follows a rigorous peer review process :
- Initial Screening: Editorial office conducts preliminary review within 48 hours
- Peer Review Assignment: Manuscripts assigned to qualified reviewers in relevant fields
- Review Timeline: Standard review period of 6-8 weeks
- Decision Communication: Authors notified of editorial decisions with reviewer comments
- Revision Process: Authors may be invited to revise and resubmit based on feedback
Manuscript Metadata Requirements
During submission, provide :
- Title: Concise and descriptive (consistent across all submission fields)
- Abstract: 150–250 words, self-contained summary
- Keywords: 3–6 keywords for indexing purposes
- Funding Information: Grant details if applicable
- Acknowledgments: Optional recognition of support
For the Editors Section
Authors may optionally provide :
- Suggested subject areas or keywords for reviewer assignment
- Cover letter or editorial comments
- Conflict of interest statements
- Suggested or opposed reviewers (with justification)
